Spread the Word

Perhaps the trickiest part of starting a support group is finding its first members—especially when it's a support group for socially anxious people. I would love to have your help! You can pitch in, no matter who or where you are:

ANYBODY with an internet connection can help by sharing our group on social media! Even if you live on a different continent, you never know who (and where) you might reach. Most of all, you'll help to spread our message—that there is a way for people with severe social anxiety to find the support in others that everyone needs—and perhaps an inspiration for others to start groups in their area! I have provided a variety of promotional graphics (download below) which you are welcome to use in your posts or profiles!
ATHENS LOCALS can help immensely via word-of-mouth.

Have a socially-anxious friend or two? Tell them about us!
Familiar with any businesses or other locations that have flyer boards? Let me know; or, you can print your own flyers (and cards) with our designs.
Know a mental health professional who might like to hear about our group? Get in touch (with them directly, or with me).
If you happen to be a student at U.G.A., you might discover great opportunities to spread the word on campus.
